We are so proud to announce that our 2023 Gala, “A Night to Open Doors”, was an IMMENSE success!!
The Catie’s Closet magic was certainly in the air on this special night. Not only did we have an amazing turnout of incredibly generous and enthusiastic supporters, but we crushed our goal and raised a total of $255,000!!!
New and familiar faces filled the ballroom of Andover Country Club, thrilled to be together in support of local children living in poverty. Attendees bid on our live and silent auctions, took their chances on our legendary raffle baskets, and raised their numbers to fund the needs of our students.
Founder & Board Chairman, Anne-Marie Sousa, Co-Founder & CEO, Mickey Cockrell, and special guest speaker, Wendy Roberge-Crocker, addressed the crowd with emotional, informational and inspirational speeches, while comedian Tony V emceed the event and conducted the live auction. We laughed, we cried, and ultimately enjoyed a beautiful, impactful evening that will undoubtedly pave the way to new open doors for local children in need.
Of course, a big THANK YOU goes out to our sponsors that made this night possible, as well as our Gala committee, volunteers and staff whose dedication keeps us going.

On March 18, 2023 Catie’s Closet will host “A Night to Open Doors” to raise $250,000 for 80,000 children living in poverty across Massachusetts and New Hampshire. These vital funds support our mission, granting students critical access to clothing and other basic necessities that are crucial to their well-being.
Since last year, the demand for our services has tripled. Each year we’ve increased our ability to reach students across multiple communities with a myriad of needs. We now operate 120 closets and help tens of thousands of kids each day. Yet, this still doesn’t address the full scale of need as we continuously receive an overwhelming number of requests for our services. That is why we need your help. For us to continue our work, we require greater support.
